This might be a bit of a read, but I need your honest crypto-community perspective.
I’ve been rocking the Bitcoin sugar daddy life for two years now. Overall, things have been minty fresh, though we’ve had our occasional blockchain bumps. This month, however, the market has been volatile, and so has my relationship dynamic.
The month kicked off with a dip – literally, we missed nearly half of it without seeing each other because my sugar baby was feeling under the weather and swamped with life. Being the generous Bitcoin bull that I am, I went all-in with her allowance this month, especially since it’s Christmas and all. But she’s been distant, communication limited to the occasional “HODL” message, sometimes going days without a ping. Totally out of our usual trend.
To add to the bearish vibes, I’ve only seen her twice this month, compared to our usual six Bitcoin block confirmations together. A few days ago, I discovered she has family visiting and staying with her, which might explain her busy, chilly responses. Still, the lack of crypto chats and time together has left me feeling a bit degen.
We’re trying to schedule some Satoshi time before the month’s end, but with her fam’s arrival, finalizing plans has been tougher than mining Bitcoin on a potato. She also mentioned she’ll be celebrating New Year’s Eve with family, which has left my wallet and heart a bit bummed.
We’ve got an overseas crypto cruise planned for mid-Jan. She’s already told me she has family activities lined up post-cruise and will be off the grid until early February.
Here’s where I’m stuck: Should I bring up the idea of adjusting her Bitcoin allowance to reflect the missed connections this month and next?
I’ve always kept her allowance consistent, even during previous months when we saw very little of each other and she was away. But this month feels different. I’m covering the cost of the trip and everything else as usual. However, I can’t shake the feeling that my crypto generosity, patience, and kindness are being taken for granted.
Am I overthinking this? Should I just continue with the usual Bitcoin allowance despite everything or address these points?
